Survey drawings for the house, c1765 (3)
Notes
The plans (Adam volumes 42/55 and 42/56) show both the domestic and warehouse spaces required for mercantile use, and Charles Rogers, who lived at 3 Laurence Pountney Lane, may have intended to let out number 4 for this purpose. The drawings are datable to c1765 as they were made to faciliate the design of new ceilings and chimneypieces for the house, the designs for which are all dated 1765.
