[71] Design for the soffit of the portico, 1767
Aspect
Plan of a tripartite ceiling divided by the columns of the portico. Each rectangular compartment centres on a rosette enclosed by fluting. In the central compartment this is encircled by a fluted octagonal frame, and in the outer compartments it is encircled by fluted rectangular frames
