[1] Preliminary design for a cottage, 1777
Aspect
Rough plan and elevation of a small rectangular building, divided into two rooms, with a porch on the principal front and a projecting bay on the rear front containing a spiral staircase. The elevation of the principal front is of one storey and three bays, a tiled pyramidal roof with a central chimney-stack, and a central semicircular arched entrance porch beneath a conventional pediment that breaks-up into the roof
