This is the companion in composition and technique to Adam vol.26/99 and like that drawing may be attributed to Giuseppe Manocchi (c.1731-82). Both can be related to the decoration of James Adam's Parliament House scheme of 1762/63 in Adam volume 7. The draghtsmanship can be compared with the Manocchi drawing in Adam vol.19/88.
