Notes
This unfinished drawing is for a grotesque panel in the style of the work for the Vatican by Giovanni da Udine(1487-1564). It is in the same style and unfinished state as those drawings in Adam vol.26/25 and 27, and may be the work of Giuseppe Manocchi (c.1731-82) or, more likely, an assistant since the draughtsmanship is crude. Although derived from the Vatican logge they do not obviously correspond to any of the pilasters.
