Notes
Like Adam vol.7/84, the drawings on verso and recto may be associated with James Adam's Parliament House scheme of 1762/63. The Thistle pendant is a variant of that shown on the verso of Adam vol.7/84. There is an unfinished chalk drawing for the badge in Adam vol.54/Series 7/243.
