[33] Preliminary design for a panel for a window shutter in the front drawing room, c1775, possibly executed
Aspect
Elevation of an ornamental window shutter, with a central medallion depicting a winged sphinx. Above this there are arabesques and a tubular flower with ram masks which suspend beading and pendent crosses. The tubular flower is surmounted by an anthemion, urn, arabesques and a calyx enclosed within a wreath. Below the medallion there are arabesques, a rosette enclosed within a wreath, an urn, a peltoid shield and drop calyx
