Designs for the door panels for the second drawing room, 1778, as executed (2)

Notes

These designs for ornamental door panels are possibly shown in the wall-elevations for the great drawing room, (Adam volumes 50/25). Bolton notes surviving painted door panels of an Adam design in the great drawing room, c1917. It is possible that these designs were executed in each of the three drawing rooms as the inscriptions for Adam volumes 24/278-79 suggest they were also executed in the second drawing room. However there are additional designs for door panels (Adam volumes 5/7 and 24/265).
