The plaster work for the house is attributed to Joseph Rose. The designs for the hall frieze and for the dining room also appear in Rose’s ‘Designs for ornamental friezes’.
It is not possible to date this drawing as it is included in a volume of record drawing frieze designs, which includes friezes from various architectural projects from throughout the Adam office. See appendix on volume 53.
