Purpose
Finished drawing and record drawing for a funerary monument, 1763, executed with minor alterations (2)
Notes
The monument to Sir Wyndham was executed in accordance with Adam volume 19/39, albeit without the band of festoons and ox skull, and was sculpted in 1765 by William Tyler RA (c1728-1801).
Unlike the record drawing (Adam volume 19/38), the sheet of the finished drawing (Adam volume 19/39) is folded as if it was sent in a letter, suggesting that it is a presentation drawing which had been sent to Hatch House for the approval of Sir Edward.
