Notes
There is no evidence to suggest that these designs for a temple and bridge were ever executed. They are inscribed for Claremont / Clermont (sic), but as King notes they are most likely designs for Lord Delaval’s estate at Milburn, which borders the Claremont House grounds. (See scheme notes).
