In the inscription A is a detail of the step up to the Barons of the Exchequer's bench at the south-west corner of the Court Table. AB and CD denote section lines at right angles to each other. The section inscribed AB is given in SM Vol 48/35, while that inscribed CD appears in SM Vol 48/36.
