Purpose
Designs for a house and kitchen offices, April 1779, unexecuted (4)
Notes
The intended location for these designs is not known, and they are not thought to have been executed. See scheme notes.
It is interesting to note that the ground storey plan of the two buildings (Adam volume 37/102) also includes a rough pencil-drawn preliminary design for the elevation of the kitchen offices, showing a two-and-a-half-storey building which is much larger than the later measured design for the elevation of the building (Adam volume 37/100).
