Notes
Only one of Adam's surviving chimneypiece designs for Coventry House is known to have been executed (Adam volume 22/70). These designs were not.
According to his bill to Lord Coventry, Adam made the executed chimneypiece design in July 1765. He charged £3.3s. for the design, and £1.11s.6d. for a working drawing. It remains in situ.
