Purpose

Finished drawing for a mirror frame for Lady Coventry's octagonal dressing room, 1768, unexecuted (1)

Notes

This frame design was not executed. An alternative design, drawn in March 1769 was made by Sefferin Alken in February 1770. According to Harris, this was probably designed to accompany Lady Coventry's dressing table, made for the room by Ince and Mayhew in 1769.

Adam charged Lord Coventry for various designs for mirror frames for Lady Coventry's octagonal dressing room between August 1767 and August 1769.
