Purpose

Coombe House, Kingston upon Thames, London: library and other additions for Lord Liverpool, 1812 & later (13)

Notes

Except for drawing [1] the drawings catalogued here are dated 1809 or later and were thus made for the second Earl of Liverpool, the first Earl having died in 1808. Both men were prominent politicians. The house has since been demolished.

Other work done by Soane for the second Earl are a survey of Fife House, Whitehall, 1809
and unexecuted designs for St Mary's church, Walmer, 1812-13.
