[10] Finished drawing for a ceiling for the back drawing room, 1766

Aspect

Plan of a square ceiling with a chimney breast in one side, composed of alternating square compartments containing trophy roundels, and octagonal compartments containing rosettes, either enclosed by a fan and festoons, or by guilloche and miniature rosettes. The whole is divided by narrow bands of scrolled hearts
