[47] Preliminary design for the walls for the second drawing room, 1780-85, unexecuted

Aspect

Elevation of the chimney wall, with a caryatid chimneypiece, surmounted by a large mantel clock, and an overmantel mirror frame, ornamented with urns, swags, and anthemia. There is a door to either side of the chimneypiece, one with a naval overdoor panel, and the wall is ornamented with Corinthian pilasters, and panels of festoons
