[48] Preliminary design for the walls for the second drawing room, 1780-85, unexecuted
Aspect
Elevation of the chimney wall, with a caryatid chimneypiece, surmounted by a mantel clock, and an overmantel mirror frame, ornamented with urns, anthemia, and surmounted by a lion and a unicorn either side of the royal coat of arms. Either side is a door with a naval overdoor panel, and the wall is ornamented with Corinthian pilasters, two girandoles, and a frieze of urns, festoons, and arabesques
