[38] Design for a carpet for the eating room, 1780, unexecuted
Aspect
Plan of a rectangular carpet, divided into square and octagonal compartments by vines of ivy. The central compartment contains a rosette encircled by a fan, and with baskets of flowers in the side compartments, and enclosed rosettes in the corner compartments, and the whole has a border of lozenges enclosing rosettes
