Notes
This design for a chimneypiece is similar to that shown in Adam's laid out wall elevations, with the exception of a lining ornamented with rosettes, and with urns in the capitals. It is, therefore, likely that this design for a chimneypiece was intended for the same room as the laid out wall elevations.
