[27] Design for a milestone, 1760, unexecuted
Aspect
Elevation with a stylobate of four steps, a pediment ornamented with a wreath, supporting a band of laurel leaves bound by ribbons, acanthus leaves, a fluted and gadrooned shaft banded by a rectangular inscription panel, surmounted by oversized acanthus leaves, a spiral fluted shaft, and surmounted by a capital of swags and enclosed rosettes, and a fluted socle supporting a domed top.
