Notes
Dance's poché-ed plan (folded three times, perhaps for the pocket) serves to emphasise the thick masonry wall structure and compass-drawn room plans. An octagonal ceiling is indicated for the middle area of the three-part drawing room. In the succeeding drawing, the arrangement is changed and circular.
