Notes

Dance rarely shows a colour scheme and particularly not for a whole house. Here the colours are muted: grey-brown (warm sepia) for one bedroom and a mid-green for the other; blue-grey with grey pilasters for the dining room with buffet table and niches; Indian red for another reception room that has grey woodwork; red-brown scagliola for the Doric columns of the ground floor hall which has grey walls; blue-grey for the Ionic order of the first floor gallery which has grey walls; and blue-grey for the lantern walls with grey panel-pilasters.
