Notes

The elevation shows two storeys and three bays with a central, three storey hipped tower that lights the inner hall and gallery. The bowed centre is fronted by a porte-cochere and flanked by plain, square-headed tripartite windows that on the ground floor are under segmental relieving arches. Pencil additions include a balustraded parapet and a pedimented window architrave.

The effect is sombre and integrated with plain tripartite windows on ground and upper floors, three windows to the centre bow and to the lantern tower and a cornice with blocking course giving a unifying horizontal emphasis.
