Notes
Though not dated, this drawing with [SM D2/3/28], [SM D2/2/20] and [SM D2/3/13] verso, seems to have been made at the same time (April 1813) by Dance while apparently staying at Ashburnham Place and with assistance from his joiner, James Carter. John Russell was a carpentry and joinery contractor whose accounts for work done under Dance's direction are dated from 23rd January 1813 to 26 March 1814 (ASH 2808).
