Drawings [SM D2/5/39], [SM D2/5/33] and [SM D2/5/21] show, for example, the front of the piers that carry the upper single flight of stairs parallel with the curtail step, that is, further forward than is shown on previous plans. Other plans (save for [SM D2/5/31] which also shows the stoves) have swept corners on the ground floor with unequal radii, while [SM D2/5/39], [SM D2/5/33] and [SM D2/5/21] have equally swept corners either side of a stove. The pier mouldings are also close to the full-size detail [SM D2/2/18].
