Notes
The elevation shows a three-storey, eight-bay front that includes the new northeast corner link. The three-bay front of the new dining room and the dressing rooms above has an elevational treatment that recalls Dance's three-part window designs for 6 St James's Square. Here, three tall, narrow windows at ground and first floor levels share 'mullions' and are separated by a minimal fascia. They are 'stopped' by plain square attic windows. The resulting elevational treatment seems shop-like and modern.
