Notes
This untitled ground floor plan corresponds to two drawings: Plan of Principal Floor, Plan of a Design for Bayham Hall / The Seat of Earl Camden and Plan of Bedroom Floor signed and dated Geo: Dance / April 1812 that are among the Pratt MSS in the Centre for Kentish Studies (U840 P61/1-2).
The plan of the principal floor corresponds to [SM D2/7/3] except that here Dance has drawn it out more neatly. There are, on the ground floor, three bedrooms, four dressing rooms and four WCs. The first floor plan (Pratt MSS) shows 11 bedrooms, eight dressing rooms and four WCs. The provision of dressing rooms (used also for bathing) and WCs seems generous for this date.
