Notes
The house and most of the office wing are washed in sepia with alterations and additions washed in light red and warm sepia. Design D is more modest than Designs B and C, there is no portico and no bow and the main alteration is that the stair (as in Design C and roughed in on Design B) has been moved from the centre front compartment to the middle of the left-hand (north side). The office court now has a Servants Hall and Stewards Room built on to it. It seems that either the extra bedrooms and children's accommodation have been dropped or, more likely, that a second storey is to be added.
