Notes

The drawing shows a nine-part villa plan with (east/west axis) a central polygonal hall flanked by curved apsidal-ended antechambers that give on to a circular room that is 24 feet in diameter and an imperial stair and on the north/south cross axis an entrance hall fronted by a porte-cochere with another hall on the south (garden) side.
