Notes
The second design (probably as executed) is for a single-storey, three-room stuccoed cottage with slate roof on a stubby T-plan with three gables.
On the verso of a drawing for the Royal College of Surgeons ([SM D5/5/15]) is a list of outstanding fees? including £32.4.8 for 'Winton Lodge'. Based on Dance's usual 5 per cent, the lodge would have cost something like £649.60 which is far too much. Another item for the 'London Entrance' is costed at '3.2:8'.
