Notes
This Corinthian-type capital is composed in two tiers, with acanthus below and schematic scrolls rising at the sides and with a three-petal floret at the centre of the abacus. It is not recorded in any other known drawing. The drawing is similar in character to others on this sheet (see Cat. Drawing 1), and its execution again dates from a slightly later time.
