This drawing, presumably a copy of an earlier one, dates from the same time and follows the same format as the rest on this page (for discussion see Folio 77r). The base depicted is again complex in design and very richly ornamented, having a lower torus embellished with foliate scrolls and a winged head, and a scotia with foliate decoration surmounted by an inverted fluted ovolo, this followed by twin astragals in the form of cabling, a cavetto and, finally, a small upper torus. No other drawings of the base are known apart from copies of this one made by Michelangelo and Francesco Borromini.
