The drawing is for one of three windows on the east side of the library in two leaves each with four panes of glass; folding shutters are shown on the plan.
Unfinished details of pilasters and frieze are indicated; the pilasters have bases above the dado clasped by lotus-like leaves that give an Indian or Egyptian impression - these were not executed.
