Notes
This section or wall elevation shows part of the east side of the hall with a chimney-piece between the doors to the library and drawing room flanked by pilasters with three roundels. The chimney-piece, washed so as to indicate a dark grey marble, has slightly battered (out)sides and Greek fret is pencilled in. The battered incline rises from 7½ inches at the bottom to 5 inches at the top and the 4½ inch wide frame to the opening stands slightly forward.
