Notes
The twin doors below the screen that lead to the basement rooms have simple, almost primitive, stone, architraves on [SM D1/2/16] that on [SM D1/2/25] become lintels on posts amended to 'grave-stele' doors (Kalman p.162) fully drawn out on [SM D1/2/15]. Banded rustication is shown on [SM D1/2/25] and [SM D1/2/15] while [SM D1/2/16], the 'first thought' drawing, has a wall treatment below the screen of surbase, die and plinth.
