Notes
The stair plan has been modified so that there are 13 instead of 14 steps on the two long flights. Dance's entrance hall plan did not change significantly from what is shown on his preliminary general plan ([SM D1/1/9]). Essentially, he had to overcome the problem of inserting a stair giving access at a low first floor level in an adapted triple-height space.
