[11] Variant preliminary design for adding wings, links and an entrance loggia to the house, c1768, unexecuted
Aspect
Rough elevation of the principal (west) front of a three-storey, nine-bay central block, with a hipped roof, and with a three-bay, rusticated, arcaded entrance loggia supporting a portico and pediment. To either side (north and south) is a one-storey, three-bay arcaded link, and a one-storey, pedimented pavilion, containing a Venetian window within a relieving arch, ornamented with paired Ionic pilasters, and figurative sculptures supported by acroteria.
