Notes
Soane's Bakehouse was located between Soane's Stables and Wren's old Guardhouse, bordered by the 'West Road' on its east side. Designs show a one-storey, yellow stock brick building with a hipped slate roof and a distinctive 'Soanean' central chimney stack.
This drawing shows the front facing north, towards Soane's Stables. This has a simple entrance flanked on either side by a window.
