Purpose
[36] Design for a bridge, 1788, unexecuted
Aspect
Plan, elevation and section of a bridge with lozenge-shaped piers and sloped starlings, and curved abutment walls terminating in circular piers. The bridge is rusticated to its fronts and adorned with a band of enclosed rosettes on the piers. There are sphinxes on the outer pedestals
