[17] Finished drawing for the principal front of a house, c.1787, as executed

Aspect

Principal elevation of three-storey, five-bay house with flanking links terminating in pavilions, all over a half-sunk basement. There is a central porte-cochere with a balustrade supported by Tuscan columns, flanked by windows in relieving arches. The flanking links have balustraded parapets and the pavilions have tripartite windows, pyramidal roofs with chimney stacks and weathervanes. The entire elevation is adorned with string coursing and moulded cornices
