The lancet-arched front door and flanking windows of the three-sided bay that joins the porte-cochere are very similar, having fixed tops and panelled bottoms. They are 15 feet 6 inches high in all and 4 feet wide. Both Dance and Carter refer to the door as 'sash', which here presumably means 'glazed'. The drawing is as executed.
