[12] Preliminary design for a town house or garderner's house, c.1775, unexecuted
Aspect
Elevation of a two-storey, three-bay house with a hipped roof. The ground-floor central bay is rusticated and comprises a central arched opening with a key stone, and steps, flanked by niches with fluted friezes and moulded cornice above, and enclosed rosettes. The first-floor central bay is pedimented with Tuscan columns and flanked by windows with consoled surrounds. The entire elevation is adorned with string coursing and a dentilled cornice, and there is a continuous first-floor balustrade
