Purpose

[5] Design for a classical lodge, 1781, unexecuted

Aspect

Principal (northwest) elevation of a two-storey, three-bay lodge, with flanking single-storey wings with hipped roofs, all over a basement. There is a central portico with Tuscan columns and a frieze with enclosed rosettes, and flanked by multipaned windows. The flanking wings have Venetian windows within relieving arches with balustrades
