Notes
This drawing and SM volume 81/21 show the external structure of the new Gallery almost complete, apart from the windows and doors of the almshouses. The slated roofs were covered at the beginning of August 1812 by W. and J. Sharpe, who were paid £39.13.1 for their work. The information about the tradesmen is from the building accounts, SM Bill Book G, folios 413-442.
