[8] Design for the east and west shopfronts of a building, c.1791-94, unexecuted
Aspect
Elevation of a two-storey, eleven-bay building with a rusticated ground floor comprising six bays of arched openings, with Tuscan columns flanking the two central bays, with raised tripartite openings between each bay with alternating caryatids and Tuscan columns, and a central first-floor Venetian window flanked by two bays of square-headed windows, with fanlights, those on the outer bays are within pedimented surrounds with consoles, each with strigillated panels below and square windows above, with the coat of arms of the United Kingdom and flanking runs on raised parapets above
