[6] Design for the principal elevation of a building, 1791-92, as executed
Aspect
Principal elevation of a three-storey, five-bay building with a central clock and a raised dome with a cupola. The ground floor is rusticated and the central bay projects forward, with Corinthian columns supporting an entablature and pediment on the first floor. There is a balustrade at roof level flanked by heraldry above the outer bays. There are a mixture of tripartite, square-headed and Venetian windows and the elevation is adorned with decorative panels, fluted friezes, and a guilloche moulded band. There is a pencil outline on one side of an arched passageway and flanking building with measurements
