Purpose
[1] Preliminary design for the front elevation of a house, ND, execution status unknown
Aspect
Rough elevation of a two-and-a-half-storey, three-bay crenelated cottage with a hipped roof. The central bay contains a panelled door within a single-order, gothic-arched surround comprising a pointed fan light with a crocketed hood moulding. The door is flanked by lancet windows on the ground floor and square-headed windows on the first floor, each with hood mouldings. There is a central single-storey, single-bay, crenelated tower containing an arched window. All the windows appear to have plate tracery. Further adornments include a machicolated cornice, crenelations and bartizans
