[17] Finished drawing for the principal elevation of a group of prison buildings for Edinburgh Bridewell, 1791, unexecuted

Aspect

Elevation of a group of prison buildings, same as SM Adam volume 1/74 with some minor omissions and additions including elevations of the flanking wings which terminate in in two-storey, five-bay blocks, all over a half-sunk basement. The central gable contains a clock, with a little belfry above and the outer gabled ends are of a matching design

bar scale of 3/4 of an inch to 10 feet
